HIFU - Procedure
- Treated area is cleaned
- Topical anaesthetic cream applied by the technician
- Ultrasound gel (lubricant) is applied on the skin
- HIFU device is placed on the skin before commencing treatment
- Ultrasound waves are adjusted by the technician and waves are then delivered to the targeted area. Each treatment session takes between 30 and 90 minutes
- A little bit of heat/tingling may be experienced while the ultrasound energy is being applied
- Normal daily activities can begin right after the procedure

HIFU NOT RECOMMENDED FOR:
- Pregnant women or breastfeeding
- Heart disease patients (e.g., those with arrhythmic disorders), those with pacemakers
- Anyone with any metal in the body
- Patients with major diseases, skin diseases or infectious diseases
- After 2-3 months of uric acid injection, botulinum toxin, exposure to sun exposure or colour light, laser care
- People with skin wounds, cystic acne
- People with dermal fillers
AFTER CARE TREATMENT:
- Use mild cleaning products
- Apply rehydration moisturizing products and use SPF 30 or above
- Do not use hot water after treatment to wash the treated area
- No steaming or sauna
