How often can you have HIFU?

It is generally recommended to undergo treatments every 12-18 months in order to achieve and maintain optimum results.

 

Which areas can be treated?

All areas on the body and face. The most popular areas include the face, neck, chin, periorbital (under the eyes), crow’s feet, cheeks, forehead, and décolletage. On the body, it is highly effective for the stomach, hands, thighs, and knees.

 

How many sessions are required?

The number of treatments depends on everyone’s skin type. We would recommend 1-3 treatments depending on the area treated

 

When will I start to notice results?

Results can be seen immediately with collagen production increasing 6-12 weeks post-treatment. Results will continue to improve over time, up to 3 months post-treatment.

 

Is HIFU painful?

No it is not. HIFU is designed to ensure ultrasound emission power levels are delivered comfortably, ensuring the best results from treatment

 

Can HIFU damage the skin?

No, your skin cannot be damaged. It is a safe treatment, which is designed to tighten, rejuvenate, repair, and lift the skin.

 

How long does HIFU take?

Treatment times vary, depending on the area of treatment. The entire face and body can be delivered in 45-60 minutes while individual areas can be treated in 15 minutes

 

Any side effects?

Side effects are uncommon but in the small chance they occur, these include slight redness which will settle after 30 minutes. Some people may feel a little sensitivity after treatment which is a good sign the treatment is working

 

Is HIFU right for me?

If you have wrinkles, fine lines, or sagging skin on your face or neck then this treatment is ideal to tighten and rejuvenate the skin. It’s also an ideal treatment for post-pregnancy mothers to tighten skin
